Camera Movements

Zoom In: 
The camera zooms in on an object or a person to show something important or something significant

Zoom Out: 
Camera is zoomed out to show a more broad scene

Tracking:
When the camera follows movement or follows the scene

Pan:
The camera is move from left to right, this could be to follow a person in a scene

Whip Pan:
The same thing as a Pan Shot only quicker

Arc:
Camera moves in an arc shaped movement in a semi circle to create depth of field

Crane Shot:
Camera is placed on a crane to show the scene from a higher angle/shot

Steadicam:
Camera is out a dolly on a track so during a scene their is no or very little camera movement 


Aerial Shot:
Scene is shot from a high angle, its like a birds eye view

Hand Held Camera:
Scene is shot from a camera that is just held in the hand, this is common camera shot in action scenes
