Green Screen Practice

This is a video I made using a dancing woman video and I put it over another video and then added in an intro, credits as well a song. However there are cuts in the part with the dancing woman where I did not correctly place them next to each other so I will need to correct this mistake when i do something with a green screen room again

Poster Comparisons

I have created two posters and to improve I need to research some tour posters and compare mine to these tour posters. Here is the second poster I created compared to a tour poster by the same band

The one on the left is the one I created and the one on the right is a tour poster, mine needs to have more on it, more details and I need to be a lot more creative with my poster design. I will need to practice my Photoshop skills and learn about the tools I could use to improve my posters a lot more.

This is the final result after using Photoshop and creating a poster for a band. After messing around with tools in Photoshop which i'm still not good at using at all i created this poster, I will over the course however be getting better at using the software so I will be able to make a better poster.

Photoshop Band Poster Step by Step

I have been tasked with creating a poster of a band/musician, i chose to go with creating a Daft Punk poster. I tried to mess around with different effects but since I am still getting use to using Photoshop the effects didn't work out that well on the poster. So i went with simple effects and as the course goes on I will be able to get used to using different tools and will be able to create a much better poster.

Here are a few screenshots of the progression of the poster I created........

Possible Other Lip Sync songs

I have to re-do the lip sync that was done as a group and now i have to pick a song and do the lip sync again on my own, below is a few of the possible songs i am thinking about doing a new lip sync to.

1:
Disturbed: Land of Confussion (2005)

Even though i like the original version by Gensis, I listen to the Disturbed version more due to the rock/metal style it has as its my favourite genre and the video i like more then the original mainly because of the animated style it has.

2:
Dire Straights: Money For Nothing (1985)
The video is interesting as it mixs CGI created images and real life scenes, this song has been played when I was growing up so I grew to love it.

3:
Gorillaz: Stylo (2010)

Gorillaz always have good music videos that are fairly unique but this one is good because instead of it all being animated like other Gorillaz videos this one uses the CGI band members in a car chase with Bruce Willis. It is a good music video because of how well its made and is entertaining to watch.

4:
Sam Sparro: Black and Gold (2008)

I'd pick this because I have already done a lip sync to it in a group video. It originally started as a bit of a joke and during the first lip sync we should dress up with top hats and have canes but then we actually did the lip sync to it. So because iv already done it before I'm comfortable doing it again and the song isn't that difficult to sync with.

Video Editing Software Tutorials

I have been researching how to remove a green screen for my lip sync video and this will also be helpful when it comes to creating the music video if any green screen effects need to be added then I can use these videos to help remove the green screen and I can then add in anything I need to add.

For Windows: (Sony Vegas)

This is a tutorial for removing the green screen effect using Sony Vegas.

For Mac: (iMovie)
Due to being able to use both a PC and a Mac I found a video for both so I can remove the green screen effect on both Sony Vegas and iMovie.
